The Met Office in Austria is called the Zentral Anstalt für Meteorologie un Geologie - ZAMG for short.  If you just key in ZAMG to Google you will find it.

In the navigation table on the left you will find "Wetter für unterwegs" i,e, travel weather.  Click this link,
Click on "Skiwetter"
An outline map of Austria appears enabling you to click on the province.  Click the province.
A map appears and if you hover over the dots with your mouse the ski resort name pops up. Click your resort.

This is the most accurate forecast available.

It is also interesting to return to the menu and click Satellitenbilder and of further general interest is the navigation on the top row.  See "Erdbeben"  (Earthquakes)  for both Europe and the world.

I tried hard to make this work. Then I realised you missed out an instruction. After the Wetter fur unterwgs, you then have to click on "skiwetter" before the map comes up.

ps did anyone else go to the Downhill this year. I found it to be really flat this year, obviously because the Austrians were never in with a shout. Did anyone see my friends interviewed on ORF in their kilts. I chickened out and wore the t-shirts and the stupid Jimmy hats they brought with them.  Im wondering if its possible to download the programme on a version of the iplayer or something?
