If you are interested in 'all things Austrian' then we would really welcome your input.

If you would like to set up a section on your favourite ski resort or somewhere you particularly like to go walking or climbing, just let us know and we will set up a new specialist topic for you.  Any new subject makes the forum more interesting for everyone.

We look forward to hearing from you.

David.

Hello David, how about food, I think the austrian food is rather good infact my favourite, and the desserts, well I don't think that I have been to any country that is better then the austrian cakes etc.

Yes, the food is good.  It's a bit repetitive though as every menu in every hotel is more or less the same. The day I am offered Canelloni or something other than Schnitzel und Pommes I will be in shock.  It's "gut Burgerliche Küche" though.

The Konditorei are wonderful as you say.
